Meet Anna Shaterkin
I have been in the financial services industry for a decade starting with a CPA firm internship fresh out of USC Leventhal School of Accounting, and later USC Marshall School of Business Masters in Business Taxation program.
I have since worked for two public accounting companies and later started a sole CPA practice focusing on small business and real estate clients. My client base in taxation spans several countries on three continents and certainly touches a few states domestically. Recently, my real estate experience as a rental property investor has evolved to Mortgage Lending Originator license (NMLS 1547333).
I have the expertise in both taxes and lending, with an affinity for real estate. I am passionate about my work and I am one of the best people to put on your team.
Why work with Anna on your mortgage or tax return
I have a deep personal belief that owning your numbers and owning your home is a strong foundation of personal financial health, stability and therefore, a better life.
In taxes, I believe going over every single line of the return and making sure that the client knows where the numbers came from, how they affect the tax due and what planning if any there is to be done in the current tax year.
In mortgages, I believe that owning your house starts with a conversation. You and I will go over the current financial situation, your long term and short term financial goals, timing, and of course price range for the proposed real estate acquisition. Once you know where you are with “owning your numbers”, you will have a better chance at
planning, better negotiation power when writing purchase offers and will be able to see your financial goals within reach.
I am passionate about my work and I sincerely love working within the rules and guidelines of the Internal Revenue Code, and Mortgage Guidelines issued by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as well as various investors and banks I work with.
I believe in proactive communication, clear concepts, and no ambiguity when discussing your tax or mortgage file. My personal pet peeve is the phrase “Everything is fine”. You will never hear this from me. You will always receive a status update with details, tax or project deadlines and completion status and any challenges I am currently working on for you. Whether it’s a capital account basis calculation for an LLC or clearing a condition on your loan file, you will always be at the helm of your project.
I am available 9 am – 5 pm, returning calls during the hours of 11am – noon and 3 pm – 4 pm. If urgent, text to get a faster reply.
